Job Overview
This is a new opportunity to join as a Data Analyst within Primary Care Services. The role involves collecting, analysing, and reporting data for internal and external stakeholders. You will join a team of Business Analysts and a Business Information Manager, working towards improving data management and ongoing processes.
You will be expected to:
- Work as part of a collaborative team while using autonomy in day-to-day tasks

- Support organisational objectives through accurate and insightful data analysis
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.
Person Specification
Qualifications – Essential
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports, or similar query tools
- Evidence of continuous learning in the field
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Desirable
- IT-related qualifications
- Knowledge of Primary Care systems and NHS Data Dictionary
- Experience with statistical tools (e.g., SPSS)
Experience – Essential
- Strong skills in analysing and interpreting large data sets
- Experience preparing SOPs and training guides
- Knowledge of information governance and related legislation
- Experience designing audits and developing supporting systems
Desirable
- Change management experience
- Experience in software development/testing
- Designing and analysing surveys
