Business Analyst – Defence Projects

Amentum is seeking a Business Analyst to support ICT infrastructure design activities on a UK defence project. You will act as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring complex needs are translated into actionable requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements elicitation workshops, interviews, and analysis.
- Document functional & non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication across teams.
- Collaborate on solution design, validation, and acceptance.
- Analyse existing business processes to recommend improvements.
- Assist with project scope definition and manage changes effectively.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive consensus.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Defence.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation tools.
- Ability to produce clear process maps, use cases, user stories, and data flows.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with UK MOD and multiple Defence projects.
