About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior Business Analyst to join our Business Support team. This is a unique chance to connect groundbreaking research from a world-leading university with industry and help solve some of the world’s most important challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining dashboards and reports to keep them accurate, clear, and up to date
  • Supporting regular data audits, with a focus on University Spinouts and Startups data
  • Using Power BI to visualise and share insights across the organisation
  • Working closely with multiple teams to contribute to statutory reporting
  • Spotting opportunities to improve reporting processes
  • Exploring new tools and technologies, including the role of AI in data analysis

What We’re Looking For

You’ll enjoy this role if you:

  • Have some experience with data analysis or working with data in another role
  • Know your way around Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools)
  • Enjoy problem-solving and making sense of numbers
  • Can explain data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Bonus skills (not essential):

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Knowledge of analytics types: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive
  • Familiarity with data modelling (OLAP, Star Schemas)
