About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant to join our Borehamwood store. This is a permanent part-time position, working 16 hours across 3 days per week. Shifts will include weekday evenings and full availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part-time work that fits around studies, family commitments, or those seeking to build a long-term retail career.
Pay & Benefits
Your hourly rate will depend on your age:
- Ages 16–20: £10.10 per hour
- Ages 21+: £12.31 per hour

Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Assistant at Farmfoods, you will play an important role in delivering excellent service and maintaining our high standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and making them feel welcome
- Assisting customers in finding the products they need
- Providing fast, friendly, and efficient service at the tills
- Handling stock carefully, including working on deliveries and replenishing shelves and freezers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised store environment with your team
