Overview
ECHODIGITECH LTD is seeking a Manual Tester to join our growing team. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about ensuring software quality through rigorous testing processes.
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tests across different platforms, identifying issues, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for software applications.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis on defects and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Implement test automation using Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Support continuous integration (CI/CD) processes with tools like Jenkins.
- Carry out performance testing with LoadRunner or JMeter.
- Test across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Validate data integrity using SQL for database testing.
- Collaborate in a DevOps environment to streamline release cycles.
- Document test results and provide detailed quality reports.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber).
- Strong knowledge of Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, TFS).
- Experience with performance testing (LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Understanding of SOA, APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Strong database knowledge (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
