Job Summary

St Johns House Medical Centre is seeking a flexible, hard-working and reliable Operational Data Analyst to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This new and varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing data and driving operational improvements. Prior healthcare experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Main Duties

  • Ensure all clinical templates contain up-to-date codes
  • Analyse, interpret, and report on patient and practice data using Power BI and other tools
  • Report against DES, LES, and prevalence specifications to support contracts
  • Process and record data in line with protocols
  • Support compliance with CQC standards in prescribing and medication management
  • Conduct data audits and contribute to service improvement projects
  • Carry out accurate clinical coding and prescription request management
  • Present data insights to management and stakeholders
  • Support Primary Care Networks (PCNs) with data-driven decision-making
  • Coach, train, and develop colleagues
  • Manage monthly PPA claims and publish EMIS Web protocols in line with NICE guidance

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience in analysing data
  • Strong IT skills
  • GCSE level education or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with the public and in healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of Emis Web, Accurx, AnalyseRx
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High confidentiality awareness

Desirable

  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Qualification in data administration
  • Car driver with clean licence
