About the Role
A 14-year-old girl living in Bushey, Hertfordshire, is seeking a kind, patient, and experienced female Personal Assistant to provide care and support. She is autistic, non-verbal, and requires full assistance with daily living.
The role involves:
- Full personal care (changing nappies, dressing, bathing)
- Assisting with feeding
- Supervising for safety and guidance
- Supporting with hospital appointments or outings when required
- Providing calm support during frustration or tantrums
Training Provided
- Safeguarding Adults/Children
- Introduction to First Aid / Paediatric First Aid
- Health and Safety / Moving and handling
Qualifications & Requirements
- Female PA/Carer (essential, compliant with Sex Discrimination Act 1975, Section 7 (2b))
- Experience with children with special needs, particularly autism and non-verbal communication
- Childcare background preferred
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Friendly, patient, and reliable personality
