Overview

As a C# Engineer, Associate at BlackRock, you will join the Aladdin Engineering group and work on BlackRock’s investment operating system, Aladdin. This platform powers risk analytics, portfolio management, trading, and operations for both internal and external users worldwide.

You’ll contribute to developing high-quality technology solutions that manage trillions in assets, perform complex risk calculations, and process millions of transactions daily.

 Responsibilities

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the software and provide second-line product support
  • Collaborate with support and marketing teams to resolve issues
  • Work on design, coding, and testing activities for software enhancements
  • Leverage technical knowledge from senior engineers to grow expertise
  • Take increasing responsibility and ownership of widely used products

Preferred Skills

  • Strong C# development experience (desktop applications)
  • Experience in large corporate software ecosystems
  • Proficiency in producing high-quality, pragmatic code
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps tools (preferably Azure DevOps pipelines)
  • Experience working with Excel (add-ins or complex macros)
  • Familiarity with REST APIs (design or integration)
