About the Role
At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer. We’re looking for a talented Analyst to provide expert data analytics, reporting, and insights that help drive fundraising innovation and impact.
You will lead your own projects and contribute to team-wide analysis across digital, marketing, supporter, and operational activity to optimise fundraising performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand stakeholder objectives and gather reporting and analysis requirements.
- Lead projects to develop high-quality KPI reports and analysis.
- Ensure reports and insights are communicated effectively to drive impact.
- Adhere to business processes and maintain proper documentation.
- Use a broad range of reporting and analysis tools across multiple data sources.
- Investigate and reconcile data inconsistencies to ensure accurate reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve governance of reporting and analysis.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and share knowledge to build capability.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong experience in reporting and data analysis, ideally in marketing/comms.
- Expertise in Power BI (data models, flows, DAX, dashboards).
- Experience with SQL, R, or Python for manipulating datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills (macros a plus).
- Google Analytics experience (advantageous).
- Proven ability to lead and deliver impactful projects.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Proactive, independent, and innovative problem-solver.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.
