Overview
The University of Bath is embarking on the next stage of its digital transformation journey. As part of the Data and Insights Project, the University is developing capabilities to become a data-driven organisation, using data as a key institutional asset to provide insights and actionable recommendations that enhance the student and staff experience.
The Enterprise Data Architect will sit within the Data & Technology pillar and work closely with the Chief Data & Technology Officer (CDTO) and stakeholders across the university. You will:
- Lead the architecture of the university’s Enterprise Data Hub as a single source of quality-assured data.
- Provide data architecture leadership, setting standards and ways of working across the data community.
- Operate across a wide technology stack including SaaS, PaaS, commercial off-the-shelf, and in-house solutions.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into architectural guidance and evaluate engineering designs against standards.

About You
- Subject matter expert and trusted partner with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, business stakeholders, analysts, and project managers.
- Experienced in leading enterprise data architecture initiatives and aligning solutions with reference architecture.
