About the Role
Bracknell Forest Council is seeking two Call Screening Officers to join the Berkshire Emergency Duty Service on a part-time, permanent basis. Hours will be negotiated.
As the first point of contact for the public and partner agencies, you’ll play a key role in supporting crisis social work interventions. This is an opportunity to thrive in a supportive, collaborative team while making a real impact on residents’ lives.

Key Responsibilities
- Screen and process incoming referrals.
- Undertake database checks to support decision-making.
- Provide accurate signposting information.
- Support out-of-hours crisis social work interventions.
- Undertake training for the role of Appropriate Adult.
