Overview

Responsibilities
- Analyse surgical datasets from the Hugo™ robotic surgical platform.
- Deliver actionable data insights to internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain advanced visualisations from complex datasets.
- Develop new analytics methods to extract insights from surgical data.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to validate findings.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- MSc in STEM or 1+ year professional experience as a Data Scientist/Analyst.
- Strong skills in data visualisation (Tableau, PowerBI preferred).
- Experience working with clinical data.
- Proficiency in SQL (DBT experience a plus).
- Writing clean, maintainable, and tested code with version control.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn).
- UI/UX design for data visualisations and dashboards.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines and data engineering principles.
- Experience building custom visualisations (Dash, Streamlit, Shiny, Holoviz, etc.).
- Deployment experience with cloud technologies/Docker.
