Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Quality Analyst (Band 5) to join the award-winning Data Analytics and Assurance Team at WWL. This role comes at a pivotal time as we transition to our new Snowflake Data Platform.
You’ll be passionate about using data to improve patient care, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, insightful analytics. You’ll use your strong technical and analytical skills to produce robust statistics, design dashboards, and support divisional teams in identifying and addressing Data Quality issues.
Flexible working options are available, including a blend of office and home-based working.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate analytics to support Trust-wide Data Quality improvements.
- Design and support interactive dashboards and BI apps.
- Conduct audits, investigate Data Quality issues, and provide solutions.
- Produce and review regular performance reports, supporting staff with interpretation.
- Liaise with finance, clinical, and operational teams to ensure accuracy and improvements.
- Contribute to the Trust’s data-driven strategy and promote a “Get It Right First Time” culture.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or related field.
- Proven analytical experience in a busy information environment.
- Ability to validate and interpret large, complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with SQL, QlikView/Qlik Sense, or NHS datasets.
- Health Informatics background.
- Dashboard/report development experience.
