Senior Analyst

Location: Cambuslang, Scotland
Salary: Starting from £53,280 per annum + excellent benefits

About the Role

As part of SP Energy Networks (SPEN), within the ScottishPower Group, we are investing over £10bn in transmission projects across central and southern Scotland by 2030. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting our T2 & T3 business plans, regulatory reporting, and commercial analysis.

Working closely with the Transmission Projects Teams, you will provide guidance on regulatory compliance, data accuracy, and process improvement to ensure high-quality reporting and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical IT solutions, guidance, and analysis to support project and operations delivery.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory allowance and reporting requirements.
  • Lead on data quality and accuracy of the SPT RRP reporting dataset.
  • Support and prepare annual regulatory reporting packs (RRP).
  • Deliver regulatory and commercial performance analysis.
  • Liaise with NP&R, Control Teams, and other stakeholders to produce submissions.
  • Deliver training and awareness across the business on regulatory and commercial reporting.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and support governance reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Computing, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in low code IT solution development (Excel, Access, PowerBI, PowerApps, Visual Basic).
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial and regulatory environments for a transmission operator.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and analytical abilities.
