About
Cygnet Hospital Oldbury is seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our state-of-the-art women’s hospital, featuring a 12-bed PICU ward and a 15-bed Acute ward. You’ll be part of a full multi-disciplinary team supporting adults who require rapid access to mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Provide enhanced care and emotional support
- Assist with medical and welfare needs
- Report and safeguard patients as required
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
- Use innovative approaches to improve patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ months experience in an Acute/PICU setting OR 2+ years in mental health support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion, resilience, and dedication to empowering service users
- Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Enhanced DBS check required
