Overview

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking experienced Social Workers (Adults) to join our Hospital Discharge and Assessment Team based at Shire Hall in Gloucester. This role focuses on helping people live full and active lives, supporting them to remain as independent as possible while having choice and control over the services they receive. You will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality practice that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

 Responsibilities

  • Support adults during hospital discharge and assessment

About You

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Registered with Social Work England (SWE)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s UK experience in Adults Social Care
  • Skilled Worker currently living and working in the UK (eligible for Certificate of Sponsorship)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
