Summary
BluCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of daily living assistance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving clients’ quality of life while promoting independence.
Key Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure comfort and safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Record daily activities and report any changes in health or behaviour.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not essential (training provided).
- A genuine passion for helping others.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
