Job Overview
Pannelli LTD is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team in Chorley. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, including handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining an organised workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., AS400) to track inventory and manage stock.
- Receive, sort, and organise materials within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipping.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, ensuring all items are properly documented.
- Load and unload goods from lorries safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred; training can be provided.
- Strong materials handling skills (lifting up to 25 kg).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Proactive problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Experience in construction or warehouse operations is a plus.
