This is an exciting opportunity for motivated doctors to further develop their clinical and academic portfolio in a Senior Critical Care Clinical Fellow (Post CCT) role at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
The position forms part of a dynamic Neuro-Critical Care team in a state-of-the-art facility within one of the UK’s leading neurosciences centres.

Main Duties and Key Features

  • Rotations in Interventional Neuroradiology and Neurosurgery for interdisciplinary experience.

  • Educational support with an annual training budget of up to £5,000.

Person Specification

Education / Training / Qualifications

  • MBBS (or equivalent).
  • Full and unrestricted registration with the GMC.
  • FFICM, FRCA, or equivalent postgraduate diploma.

Experience

  • Experience in critical care, preferably within neuro-critical specialties.
  • Familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ acute specialty experience with recognised postgraduate training.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Competent at senior fellow level in intensive care.
  • Strong leadership and responsibility.
  • Demonstrated commitment to research and continued professional development.

Personal Qualities

  • Ability to undertake on-call, evening, and weekend duties.
  • Fluent in English (IELTS Level 7 or equivalent).
  • Physically capable of meeting clinical demands.
