As Head of Cloud Services, you will lead the architecture, implementation, and management of cloud platforms that drive digital transformation at the highest level. This is a unique opportunity to build a cloud practice from scratch, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in cloud, AI, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute cloud strategy with Kubernetes, multi-cloud/hybrid cloud, and serverless architectures.
- Lead deployment, configuration, and management of secure, high-performance cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Instil DevOps, GitOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure all cloud deployments are secure by design.
- Build and mentor a high-performing cloud engineering team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture, including 2+ years in leadership or team lead roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Advanced-level certification in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience migrating and modernising large-scale enterprise applications to the cloud is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required, Arabic beneficial.
