About the Role

Join Verily’s Research Solutions team as a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead the digitization of clinical and operational protocols for next-generation healthcare research.
You will define the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for transforming unstructured data into machine-readable formats that enable automation, interoperability, and smarter evidence generation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the end-to-end product strategy for protocol digitization aligned with Verily’s research and platform goals.
  • Collaborate with senior engineering, data science, and clinical teams to deliver AI-powered automation and standardization.
  • Translate sponsor and operational needs into high-impact platform capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams balancing near-term delivery with long-term scalability.
  • Establish and track key success metrics to inform growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
  • 12+ years in product management with complex, data-centric or enterprise products.
  • Strong background in clinical research, trial design, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience leading AI/ML and NLP-driven initiatives in healthcare.
  • Proven experience defining APIs, data models, and large-scale architectures.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent).
  • Expertise in FHIR, HL7, CDISC, and related healthcare data standards.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven record of driving innovation and measurable business outcomes.

Additional Information

  • Visa sponsorship available.
  • US salary range: $194,000 – $258,000 + bonus + benefits (UK compensation discussed during recruitment).
