Job Overview
Nationwide is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager (Analytics) to lead advanced analytics and insight generation that shape data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
As part of a purpose-led, member-owned financial institution, you will play a key role in transitioning Nationwide from traditional reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead analytics teams to deliver impactful insights and advanced analytics.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into data-driven solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to analytical colleagues.
- Champion innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Drive the evolution of analytics from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Technology teams to ensure scalable, secure data infrastructure.
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organisation.
About You
- Proven leadership experience in advanced analytics or data science.
- Strong expertise in SQL, statistical modelling, and AI/ML techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing analytical talent.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
- Experience within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Innovative, agile, and passionate about continuous improvement.
