The Vacancy

As an Automation Test Engineer at Evri, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain automated tests, embedding testing early in the process (shift-left approach).

You’ll collaborate under the guidance of Test Leads and Senior Automation Test Engineers, while gaining an in-depth understanding of the Evri parcel lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Squad Members to deliver enterprise software.
  • Designing, developing and executing automated test scripts using the Evri test automation framework.
  • Increasing automation coverage to improve quality and reduce deployment lead time.
  • Supporting System Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Regression testing.
  • Maintaining and improving regression packs.
  • Tracking and reporting quality assurance metrics.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes.
  • Documenting and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Staying up to date with new testing tools, practices, and strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • BSc in Computing Science, ISTQB certification or equivalent (desirable).
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
  • Strong skills in writing clear and comprehensive automated test cases.
  • Agile and DevOps experience.
  • Proficiency with the Java technology stack, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Strong understanding of JSON and API calls.
  • SQL and scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of AWS, S3 buckets, Oracle, RabbitMQ.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • JUnit 5 and reporting tools such as Allure (desirable).
