The Vacancy
As an Automation Test Engineer at Evri, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain automated tests, embedding testing early in the process (shift-left approach).
Your work will help:
- Prevent defects from reaching production
- Reduce deployment lead time
- Deliver reliable, high-quality enterprise software
You’ll collaborate under the guidance of Test Leads and Senior Automation Test Engineers, while gaining an in-depth understanding of the Evri parcel lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Squad Members to deliver enterprise software.
- Designing, developing and executing automated test scripts using the Evri test automation framework.
- Increasing automation coverage to improve quality and reduce deployment lead time.
- Supporting System Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Regression testing.
- Maintaining and improving regression packs.
- Tracking and reporting quality assurance metrics.
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes.
- Documenting and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Staying up to date with new testing tools, practices, and strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- BSc in Computing Science, ISTQB certification or equivalent (desirable).
- 2+ years’ experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
- Strong skills in writing clear and comprehensive automated test cases.
- Agile and DevOps experience.
- Proficiency with the Java technology stack, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of JSON and API calls.
- SQL and scripting skills.
- Knowledge of AWS, S3 buckets, Oracle, RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- JUnit 5 and reporting tools such as Allure (desirable).
