Overview
Vita Health Group is seeking a skilled BI Developer to support data initiatives and contribute to the development of a comprehensive organisational data programme. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions and enhance reporting capabilities across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the gold layer of the unified data model.
- Ensure data is embedded throughout the product and delivery lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance across various teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Promote high standards of data accessibility, accuracy and governance.
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Create interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Support data transformation, modelling and visualisation activities.
Skills & Qualities (Essential)
- GCSEs in English, Maths & Computing (A–C) or equivalent.
- Strong IT skills, advanced Excel and Power Query.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering complex data solutions using SQL and Power BI.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a data-related role with strong modelling skills.
- Proven experience developing dashboards and visualisations in Power BI.
- Proficient SQL or equivalent querying language.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in healthcare or NHS data systems.
- HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics or related fields.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, DevOps or GIT.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
