Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Remote Bookkeeper to support our financial operations, focusing on accurate record-keeping and transaction tracking. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail who can ensure that our accounts remain accurate and compliant with our standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Recording: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including sales, payments, and receipts, using our accounting software.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts regularly to maintain up-to-date records.
- Data Entry: Input invoices, receipts, and other relevant financial information into our system accurately and efficiently.
- Expense Tracking: Categorize and monitor company expenses to ensure they align with our budget.
- Reporting: Generate and review monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Communication with Vendors: Handle payment inquiries and maintain good communication with suppliers and vendors as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with Accounting Software: Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Time Management Skills: Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of bookkeeping practices and principles; no formal degree required, but a certificate or previous experience is a plus.
- Remote Work Readiness: Must have a stable internet connection and be comfortable working independently from a home office.
