About the Role

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Financial Crime / FIU Business Analyst to support the design, enhancement, and optimisation of FIU processes, AML/CTF investigations, and case management technology platforms.

You will collaborate with compliance, risk, operations, product, and technology teams to ensure regulatory alignment and operational effectiveness across AML/KYC/SAR processes.

This is a hybrid role combining office, client site, and home working (not fully remote).

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements (BRD/FRD/Use Cases)
  • Translate regulatory updates (FATF, FCA/JMLSG, EU AMLDs) into actionable process and control requirements
  • Map current-state FIU processes and design target-state workflows
  • Define AML investigation data requirements (KYC/CDD/EDD, screening, TM alerts)
  • Establish KPIs, quality controls, and performance indicators
  • Support enhancements in Transaction Monitoring and case management platforms (Actimize, Mantas, SAS, NICE, Pega, NetReveal)
  • Define integration requirements for screening tools and data warehouses
  • Plan and manage UAT, test scenarios, and defect tracking
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and stakeholder workshops

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong AML/CTF and FIU investigations expertise
  • Regulatory knowledge (FATF, FCA/JMLSG, EU AMLDs 4th/5th/6th)
  • Experience with Transaction Monitoring and Case Management systems
  • Strong Business Analysis fundamentals (BPMN, user stories, UAT, traceability)
  • SQL and data analysis knowledge
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
