Overview
Boots is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join the Data Lynx delivery team within International Technology & Advanced Analytics (IT2A). You will work with business and technical stakeholders to define and refine product backlog items for complex data systems.
As a bridge between business users and IT delivery teams, you will document business processes, analyse data sources, and ensure successful implementation of data products. Working in a SAFe Agile environment, you will contribute to Program Increment planning to align business and IT teams and deliver against the Data Lynx Team’s project roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and analyse business and technical requirements.
- Work with business and IT partners to deliver data products.
- Contribute to Agile Release Train processes and Program Increment planning.
- Analyse data sources and support the implementation of business intelligence solutions.
- Support data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of project roadmaps.
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree OR certification in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Business Analysis (CBAP/BCS Diploma).
- Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or related roles.
- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or similar.
- Experience working within an Agile framework and refining product backlogs.
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Experience with healthcare or retail systems.
- SAFe Agile experience.
- Technical business analysis experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Lucid, Visio, Murals.
- Agile management tools such as ADO, JIRA.
- Knowledge of database management and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies, e.g., Microsoft Azure, Databricks.
