Our technology, developed at the University of Cambridge, eliminates synthetic chemicals, heavy metals, and unethically sourced minerals. We serve industries from cosmetics to fashion, packaging, and paint.
Role Overview:
As a Business Developer, you will generate new commercial opportunities, manage a pipeline of global early-adopter clients, and take customers from initial conversations to funded projects and commercial delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Generate leads via networking and outreach.
- Lead pitches, develop pricing strategies, proposals, and negotiate deals.
- Collaborate internally to deliver customised solutions.
- Maintain CRM, monitor pipelines, and deliver data-driven insights.
- Identify upselling opportunities and research new markets.
- Represent Sparxell at trade shows and events globally.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Experience selling speciality chemicals, pigments, or materials.
- Knowledge of fashion or cosmetics brands is a plus.
- Proven account management in an innovation-led environment.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; other European languages advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years sales & marketing experience; postgraduate qualifications (CIM, MBA) a plus.
