About Kernel

Kernel gives enterprise RevOps teams confidence in their CRM data.

We’ve raised a $14M Series A from leading VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack, and others to build the AI-native alternative to Dun & Bradstreet’s entity and hierarchy data.

RevOps teams at Gong, Navan, Zip, Remote, and GoCardless use Kernel to clean, enrich, and complete CRM data at enterprise scale—eliminating duplicates, fixing hierarchies, and restoring trust in the data that powers forecasting, territory planning, and AI initiatives.

Overview

This role is ideal for a sales-minded generalist or a top-performing SDR/BDR.

Kernel has a proven outbound sales motion, and top performers consistently hit targets and earn promotions within 12 months. You will own a book of pre-tiered accounts and focus on generating qualified pipeline through research, prospecting, and high-quality engagement.

You’ll work closely with Marketing and Account Executives, using Kernel’s data-driven insights to create hyper-targeted outreach via calls, LinkedIn, and multi-channel cadences.

Target & Qualify

  • Identify and research high-fit companies and decision-makers using Kernel’s data
  • Build and maintain an up-to-date, qualified target account list

  • Execute phone-driven outreach including cold calls and voicemails
  • Take a strategic, multi-threaded approach to each account
  • Combine LinkedIn, email, and phone into multi-touch cadences

Handoff & Collaboration

  • Book qualified meetings and provide detailed call notes to AEs
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine ICPs and messaging

This Role May Not Be for You If You

  • Prefer slow-paced or highly structured sales environments

  • Rely strictly on scripts instead of conversational selling

This Role Is Not for You If You

  • Prefer remote work (in-office presence required)
  • Don’t enjoy early-stage startup intensity
  • Have side projects that divide focus

What We Offer
