Join our Manchester Equipment & Adaptations Partnership (MEAP) team and help make a meaningful impact in the lives of disabled and older residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making and receiving phone calls
  • Scheduling assessments
  • Data entry across various internal systems
  • Supporting technical staff and panel members
  • Guiding tours of the demo/smart suite
  • Carrying out a variety of administrative duties

About the Candidate

We’re looking for two dedicated Business Support Officers who are eager to support service delivery and improve the lives of Manchester residents.

About MEAP:

MEAP assesses residents for the provision of equipment, minor/major adaptations, moving and handling, and Blue Badge applications.

Your contribution will help:

  • Enhance independence for older/disabled residents
  • Prevent falls and hospital admissions
  • Reduce reliance on care
  • Promote health and well-being through smart adaptations

Essential Requirements

  • Interpersonal Skills: Clear, concise, and effective communication
  • Planning & Organisation: Prioritise and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Problem Solving: Know when to escalate issues
  • ICT Proficiency: Confident in using multiple systems/software
  • Literacy & Numeracy: Comfortable with basic calculations and writing
  • Administrative Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date records and systems
  • Analytical Thinking: Identify data needs and derive insights
