We are recruiting for Care Assistants to support a busy care home with flexible hours and the opportunity to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery, respecting their wishes and preferences.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
• Support residents to maintain relationships and connections with their local community.
• Follow care plans and supporting information regarding residents.
• Inform the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in residents’ needs.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of those being supported.

Working with Others

• Build effective working relationships with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support and maintain connections with residents’ loved ones.

Professional Development

• Work within Fundamental Standards and CQC requirements.
• Commit to achieving relevant qualifications and training.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications

• Good English (written and verbal).

Skills

• Strong written communication for maintaining care plans and records.
• Ability to build rapport with residents and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly in changing situations.
• Capability to assist residents with daily living tasks (bathing, eating, dressing, mobility).

Experience

• No previous experience required – full training provided.
