Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable support worker to provide care for a young child with complex medical and physical needs at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full assistance with transfers and repositioning (child is non-ambulant)
- Airway management: suctioning, deep suctioning, chest physiotherapy
- Gastrostomy (PEG) care: administering feeds and medications
- Supporting the child to attend school and participate in daily activities
- Engaging in sensory play, water play, and outdoor activities
- Working closely with the child’s family
Candidate Profile:
- Patient, attentive, and passionate about supporting a child’s wellbeing
- Experience with PEG feeding, suctioning, and medication administration
- Experience with complex care needs is essential
