Description
To provide or assist residents within the home. Undertake domestic duties during shifts, carry out regular checks around the home with respect for residents’ privacy, and perform building checks with particular attention to fire safety. Respond to emergency bells by assessing situations and supporting residents seeking help. Assist residents with reassurance, comfort, bedtime preparation, and waking routines. During available time, complete domestic tasks such as laundry, ironing, food preparation, and cleaning as directed. Maintain accurate written reports at the end of each shift in the daily reports folder using black ink only. Participate in staff meetings and training activities and carry out other reasonable duties as required.
