Avery Healthcare is currently recruiting a Care Assistant (Nights) to join its award-winning team at St Giles Care Home in Birmingham. This role is ideal for caring, compassionate individuals who want to make a positive difference in residents’ lives. No previous experience is required as full training is provided.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, your main responsibility will be to deliver high-quality personal care while supporting residents to live with dignity, independence, and respect.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene and daily care needs
- Supporting residents while promoting independence and dignity
- Identifying and reporting clinical risks such as falls, infections, weight loss, and pressure sores
- Acting courteously towards residents and visitors at all times
- Following safe systems of work and care procedures
About You
