Job Description
Join our friendly, family-run care team supporting service users in Amersham, Chesham, High Wycombe, The Missendens & The Chalfonts.
Our Care Assistants play a crucial role in helping individuals with personal care and daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car
- Previous care experience beneficial but not essential – full training provided
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow and update tailored care plans
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and team communication
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others

Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as outlined in care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
