As a Care Worker with Housing 21, you’ll work within a friendly, supportive team to support our residents. Residents live independently in their own apartments, with communal spaces including lounges, gardens, cafés, and hair salons. You’ll work with familiar residents and colleagues every day, building strong relationships and becoming part of the Extra Care family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents with household and domestic tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and bill payments
  • Prepare meals, drinks, and snacks as required
  • Encourage and enable residents to follow agreed care plans
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, undressing, and getting residents to bed
  • Ensure medication is taken as required and monitor resident wellbeing
  • Communicate progress to managers and key agencies
