Overview

We are recruiting a Commissioning Support Manager to join our Commissioning and Business Support Directorate. You will lead on the management of healthcare service provision inter-provider contracts and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to drive data-informed performance and contractual excellence.

 Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of provider-to-provider contracts across the Trust.
  • Develop and implement contract workplans to improve service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with Trust divisions and external providers to maintain and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor performance and manage contract-related risks.
  • Work with Finance, BI, and Performance teams to support data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure accurate internal and external reporting of contractual performance.
  • Support service development proposals and help minimise financial risk.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Degree-level knowledge or equivalent in a relevant area.
  • Experience managing complex NHS contracts.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle financial data and report risk.
  • Advanced MS Office and digital skills.

Desirable

  • Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP).
  • Experience with CQUIN, BPT, GIRFT, or NICE frameworks.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare/Management.
