Overview
We are recruiting a Commissioning Support Manager to join our Commissioning and Business Support Directorate. You will lead on the management of healthcare service provision inter-provider contracts and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to drive data-informed performance and contractual excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of provider-to-provider contracts across the Trust.
- Develop and implement contract workplans to improve service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with Trust divisions and external providers to maintain and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor performance and manage contract-related risks.
- Work with Finance, BI, and Performance teams to support data-driven decisions.
- Ensure accurate internal and external reporting of contractual performance.
- Support service development proposals and help minimise financial risk.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential
- Degree-level knowledge or equivalent in a relevant area.
- Experience managing complex NHS contracts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle financial data and report risk.
- Advanced MS Office and digital skills.
Desirable
- Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP).
- Experience with CQUIN, BPT, GIRFT, or NICE frameworks.
- Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare/Management.
