Description
Do you want to be part of a communications team supporting world-leading health and social care research that improves people’s health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth?
The University of Leeds is recruiting a Communications Manager to support the work of the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
The role is split equally across two key areas:
- 50% NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) communications
- 50% NIHR media relations delivery
This role can be based in Leeds or London, with flexible working arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities
NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) Communications
- Lead planning, management, and evaluation of communications projects
- Manage communications channels across the NIHR RDN
- Support NIHR’s flagship digital engagement service, Be Part of Research
NIHR Media Relations
- Support NIHR’s press office function
- Contribute to media relations strategy and delivery
- Work closely with the NIHR Media Relations delivery team
