Overview
Sirona care & health CIC is recruiting a Community Support Worker (Band 3) to support adults living in the community to remain independent and improve their quality of life at home.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including Nurses and Physiotherapists, delivering delegated clinical, rehabilitation, and personal care activities. You will be supported to work independently and provided with a tailored training package. Opportunities for further career progression, including apprenticeships, are available.
Please note: A Certificate of Sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants who require a visa to work in the UK must have a minimum of 14 months remaining before visa expiry.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake delegated clinical, therapy, and nursing-led activities
- Deliver safe, patient-centred care in community settings
- Support adults with rehabilitation, recovery, and daily living activities
- Work flexibly across teams and services when required
- Travel throughout the service delivery area
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards
- Experience delivering direct patient care in a health or social care setting
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Strong understanding of teamwork and team dynamics
- Ability to use IT systems such as email and EMIS
Desirable Criteria
- Recent experience working in a community healthcare setting
