Overview

Two exciting opportunities are available for experienced critical care nurses to join the leadership team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT).

  • One 6-month fixed term secondment
  • One 12-month fixed term secondment

Main Duties

  • Provide professional, clinical, and managerial leadership to nursing staff within critical care.
  • Coordinate the intensive care unit in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as a professional role model and clinical teacher, ensuring high standards of patient care.
  • Support the critical care leadership team in managing nursing and material resources effectively.

Requirements

Essential

  • NMC Registration
  • Critical Care Award (or working towards)
  • Mentorship Qualification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in critical care
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

Desirable

  • Experience in clinical audit or research
  • ALS Provider certification
  • Involvement in quality improvement initiatives
