The role involves providing high-quality patient and client support, handling enquiries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a positive service experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare customer service, patient administration, front desk support, or call centre roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient and customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Schedule and manage appointments, referrals, and service requests
- Provide accurate information on healthcare services, procedures, and policies
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and complete data entry
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Liaise with clinical and administrative teams
- Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and healthcare regulations
- Deliver consistently high standards of customer care and service excellence
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Customer Service Officer, Patient Services Officer, or Customer Support Representative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage high-volume enquiries in a structured environment
- Proficiency in CRM systems, patient management systems, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital, clinic, medical centre, or healthcare administration
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality and privacy standards
- Experience working within Australian healthcare organisations
- Certificate or Diploma in Health Administration or Business (advantageous)
