As a Cyber Security Analyst (AWS Security), you will play a key role in safeguarding AWS infrastructure and customer data. You will work with a team of experienced security engineers, data scientists, and developers to design, build, and manage security services that detect and mitigate cyber threats.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage systems to detect, investigate, and mitigate cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable security solutions.
- Use AWS technologies to proactively protect internal and external customers.
- Support and improve existing security processes, accreditations, and awareness programs.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC), with activities such as:
- Incident response
- Security investigations
- Penetration testing
- Strong understanding of cyber security threats and defensive practices.
- Experience working with big data analytics and orchestration tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Go, TypeScript, Python, Rust.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and ability to conduct code reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Knowledge of host and network telemetry data, such as logs, process lists, and NetFlow.
- Awareness of current cyber security threats, adversaries, and techniques.
- Experience with data science and big data stacks (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming, Kinesis).
