Job description
A market-leading financial organization is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support its transition from on-premises to cloud infrastructure. You will be part of an established security team, contributing to the design and implementation of a secure, scalable technology estate.
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in-office, Chatham or Wolverhampton)

Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering secure Azure cloud services.
- Aligning security architecture with business and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and managing security policy as code.
- Applying industry standard controls (CIS, NIST, GDPR, ISO, etc.).
- Integrating security services for cloud infrastructure monitoring.
- Influencing scalable and compliant cloud design decisions.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in cloud infrastructure, platform, or security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Expertise in Active Directory, networking, SecDevOps, and cloud security tools.
- Familiarity with SIEM & SOAR (Rapid7 preferred).
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting (Python, Go, Groovy).
- Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate or AWS equivalent certification.
