About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Insight & Analytics, this role will support the development and progression of 7IM’s business intelligence and insight capability. Sitting within the Data & Analytics team, the Data Analyst will directly support 7IM’s Private Wealth brands by building dashboards, insight tools, and enabling data-driven decision-making for senior stakeholders.
This role suits an experienced and driven individual seeking to advance their data expertise while working closely with business leaders to generate meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for data analytics and visualization across 7IM’s Private Wealth brands.
 - Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and data champions to define requirements and improve data products.
 - Build, maintain, and drive adoption of Power BI dashboards and similar tools.
 - Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, define strategies, and support decision-making.
 - Manage rollout, training, and continuous improvement of dashboards and other data products.
 - Uphold data quality standards in partnership with Data Governance and Infrastructure teams.
 - Communicate updates and insights effectively through meetings and written reports.
 - Contribute to analytics best practices within the Data Analytics team.
 - Ensure all activities align with FCA Consumer Duty principles to support fair client outcomes.
 
About You
Knowledge & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in relational data modelling and data warehousing (Kimball or similar methodologies).
 - Technical expertise in:
- PySpark
 - Microsoft Fabric or Databricks
 - Power BI
 - Git
 - CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
 
 - Strong understanding of Financial Services, particularly Wealth Management, is highly advantageous.
 - Familiarity with Agile methodology is beneficial.
 
Qualifications
- No specific qualifications required.
 - Must complete the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification within 6 months.

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
 - Proficiency in Python, including using APIs for reporting.
 - Strong data analysis with attention to detail.
 - Clear, concise communication skills for presenting insights.
 - Confident working independently with stakeholders.
 - Strong written and verbal communication.
 - Competent use of Excel for basic data transformation.
