Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence (BI) Team. In this role, you’ll analyse data from multiple sources to provide meaningful insights that drive operational performance and improve patient care.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of reporting for a specific HUC service line, ensuring contractual and operational reports are accurate and delivered on time. Collaborating with internal teams, NHS partners, and commissioners, you’ll help turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyse data to monitor local and national performance and quality requirements.
- Track performance trends and investigate anomalies.
- Support service delivery with analytics and reporting.
- Use Power BI and other BI tools to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Create and maintain documentation, including data guides and schemas.
- Prepare reports for senior management and attend meetings with partners and commissioners.
- Promote a strong data-driven culture across HUC.
What You’ll Need
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex data simply and effectively.
- Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Proficiency with Power BI and strong numerical/statistical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly and influence decision-making through evidence-based insights.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
