Salary: £33,552 – £35,763 per annum

Overview
Surrey County Council is recruiting a Data Analyst to join the Transformation, Assurance & Integration Team in Guildford. This hybrid role allows you to split your time between office and home working.
You will play a key role in providing data insights to the Adults, Wellbeing & Health Partnerships Directorate, supporting the delivery of the ‘Right Homes, Right Support’ programme. Your analyses will directly influence strategic decisions and improve care services for vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and insights
- Develop creative reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Support strategic decisions for service improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including social workers, commissioners, and managers
- Ensure accuracy and quality in data analysis
Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization and statistical tools
- Proficiency in Tableau (tested during recruitment) and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Ability to solve problems creatively and think critically
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
