Overview

LifeArc is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to help shape and advance its data ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering impactful data insights within the life sciences sector.

You will lead the end-to-end dashboard development lifecycle, including:

  • Gathering and interpreting stakeholder requirements
  • Producing wireframes
  • Building and refining dashboards
  • Testing and deploying into production environments

You’ll also contribute to:

  • Designing scalable data models
  • Developing efficient data pipelines
  • Preparing high-quality datasets through data engineering and data wrangling

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams to deliver integrated, high-value data products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine scalable data models and datasets
  • Lead the creation of intuitive, visually strong dashboards
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities
  • Translate insights into compelling visual stories for diverse audiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and prioritise data initiatives
  • Optimise dashboard performance and champion best practices in data quality and visualisation
  • Engage and manage expectations across matrixed teams

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst within matrixed teams
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into data requirements
  • Expertise in analysing complex datasets and delivering actionable insights
  • Experience gathering user stories and shaping solution design
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI
  • Knowledge of data modelling
  • Preferred experience in Python or R

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desirable

  • BA certification in modern data analysis and agile delivery
  • Understanding of project and product management principles
  • Experience optimising user journeys and dashboard workflows

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong product management and UX understanding
  • Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
