Description
This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week onsite at our London Kings Cross office. As a Data Analyst, you will work within the Managed Services team, handling data analytics, modeling, and leveraging statistical methods to generate impactful business insights through Looker Studio and Looker Core. Your collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams will be essential.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and optimize datasets in BigQuery or other SQL databases for analysis and reporting
- Use SQL to query large datasets and uncover trends that support business decisions
- Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards, including custom LookML models
- Optimize queries and visualizations for cost efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and present actionable insights
- Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with governance policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and support Looker or SQL-related issues
- Monitor and automate reporting for business-critical KPIs
- Stay updated on best practices and recommend process improvements for data analysis and visualization
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills in data analytics and data modeling
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical methods
- Hands-on experience with Looker Studio (minimum requirement)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science)
- Experience with SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
