Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will:

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in data analysis, database management, and data visualisation, who can communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates with experience in additional tools or scripting languages such as Python, VBA, Bash, Tableau, or Power BI will have a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other tools
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI
Database Management
- Design, optimise, and maintain database structures in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- Ensure data integrity, efficiency, and accuracy across all systems
Business Analysis & Project Support
- Conduct business analysis to understand organisational needs
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Manage projects related to data collection, processing, and reporting within the SDLC framework
Visualisation & Documentation
- Create visualisations and process documentation using Visio
- Support system design and process improvement initiatives
Automation & Scripting
- Utilise VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to automate routine tasks
- Improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in data workflows
Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams on database design, system integration, and process improvements
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong portfolio of projects
- Proficiency in SQL programming with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Advanced skills in Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with R and Python for statistical analysis and data modelling
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and project management principles
- Strong understanding of business analysis processes and database design
- Familiarity with VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Visio, and other related tools is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately and efficiently
