Job Description
Join our dynamic Royalty Operations team at Penguin Random House, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our royalty systems.
As a Data Analyst (Royalties), you’ll support the Royalty Operations Team Leader in maintaining the integrity of sales data and ensuring it is accurately presented on royalty statements.
This is a part time role, working 21 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile SAP, affiliate, and co-edition sales to the Royalty System and Business Objects
- Audit Author and ISBN records
- Make manual adjustments to sales records
- Analyse and distribute weekly reports, investigating anomalies in the database
- Test and document new system developments
- Produce and analyse Licensing Royalty Statements
- Investigate unexpected publication prices in sales files and update where necessary
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners regarding ad hoc queries
- Escalate ongoing issues to the Royalty Operations Team Leader
- Assist with maintenance and queries from the Royalty Statement Portal
- Support mini-projects as required
What You’ll Bring
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a high-volume transaction environment where accuracy is key
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills with the ability to build strong business relationships
Hybrid Working
We believe flexibility is important. For this role, you will work from our Frating, Essex office at least one day per week (every Wednesday), with the option to work remotely on other days.
